The Grand Canyon,Yep It's Still A Hole In The Ground -Spring Break 2016

We stayed at the Grand Canyon Railway Hotel and Rv Park in Williams, AZ about 50 miles south of the Grand Canyon.
It was very tourist / family friendly. We were able to use the swimming pool and other amenities at the hotel. It was the first time that we had a guest staying with us. Rebecca's dad who recently retired was able to get the entire family into the canyon for free using his National Parks pass as an added bonus. Unfortunately, we thought our trailer sleeps 8, apparently the sofa bed is two different heights and was not very comfortable. The Grand Canyon was very crowded the day we went took almost an hour just to enter the park but we got lucky and found a parking spot relatively quickly. We walked the rim trail from the visitors center to the Grand Canyon Village approx 2 - 3 miles and enjoyed a picnic lunch before taking the free shuttle back.
The next day we treated the kids to an adventure through Bearizona a drive through wild life park in Williams Arizona. We saw bears, wolves, bison, porcupines, bobcats, and javalinas.

It it was very windy on our third day so we stayed near the rv park and saw a western gunfight show and took a drive on old Route 66 in downtown Williams and bought fudge at the the hotel.

Lessons learned:
According to Rebecca's dad, we need to grease our hitch ball so the trailer hitch can be easily removed from the tow vehicle and will minimize corrosion.
Also, remove the water hose and bring it inside when the overnight temperature drops to 20 degrees. In our defense, we did turn off the water supply and drained the hose but forgot about the water filter that was still attached.
Wild toddler on the loose, what she could get into she did. Overall, everyone had a great time.
