Trailer is finally ready to be picked up from Camping World. Guess what? The water heater bypass valve is located underneath the bottom bunk bed in the corner. $140.00 later and not covered under warranty since no work was actually performed. Glad it wasn't anything major. We are now ready to go.
Yay, Sean finally got a tow vehicle and Rebecca gets her yellow Pontiac Aztec back. We decided to get a night of camping in before taking our trailer in to Camping World in Mesa to finally fix the hot water issue. Pulled into the campground late evening and left in the morning. Lesson learned, have dinner prepared in advance on the first night.
Sorry we haven't posted in a while. Sean lost his job back in May. He had to turn in his company vehicle and Rebecca's car is not capable of towing a trailer of this size. All of our summer camping trips had to be cancelled. We made the decision to move to Arizona for a fresh start. Thanks to Kris from Double K Transport https://www.facebook.com/Double-K-Transport-650984314927067/?fref=ts for doing a great job moving our trailer for us.
Took delivery and had our walkthrough today. Our son Simon nick named it "Fuzzy." Thought we were doing great, well until we tried to back it in to the parking space in the storage facility. Rebecca being too pregnant to help spot, Sean's dad came to assist. Took some extra time backing in due to a recent snowfall and lack of snowplowing at the facility. After multiple attempts and having to push back dinner reservations we finally got it parked, only problem was that Sean having never driven a trailer had no idea how to unhitch it from the tow vehicle. apparently in our orientation it was over looked that we needed to put a block of wood under the tongue jack. After a couple of hours and extreme frustration, Trying to jump on the hitch and falling off causing a huge bruise on Sean's leg, calling Good Sam Roadside Assistance, and calling Rebecca's dad in California for advise it was finally free.
